My work employs elements of psychedelic, visionary and geometric art. I use my obsession with circles, bright colours, symmetry, pattern and detail to create psychedelic landscapes, visionary pieces and hypnotic tessellations. My tessellation work fuses organic forms with pattern as I seek to reflect the geometry abundant in nature.
I strive to incorporate aspects of Nature in to all of the work that I create. My work explores the juxtapositions of chaos and order and rebellion and conformity. My interest in dreams, the Collective Unconscious and form constant patterns also informs my work.
I use graphics, chalk and ink, magic and various printing techniques to create pieces which includes enchanted forests, magic mushroom wielding apes and rainbow brains.
My influences include M.C Escher, Bill Hicks, Giuseppe Arcimboldo, Salvidor Dali , Ernst Haeckel, Terrence Mckenna, Van Gogh, Hieronymus Bosch and Takashi Murakami.
I live in England and am currently in my third and final year of an Art and Design Degree. My work can be found on walls, shoes, posters and dormant blotters
